Mrs. Ludwig, Mount Carmel Woman, Dies
Passes Away Sunday Of Pneumonia; Funeral On Wednesday

Mt. Carmel (Special)—Mrs. Tony Ludwig, a lifelong resident of Carroll County, died suddenly of pneumonia at 6 o'clock Sunday morning at her home three miles north of Mt. Carmel. She was first taken ill with a cold which developed into pneumonia, one lung becoming infected. It was thought, however, that the disease had been broken and her sudden death came as a distinct shock. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 o'clock Wednesday morning at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel church, with Rev. Father Loeffelholz reading the requiem mass. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Born Near Breda

Mrs. Ludwig: was born Ida Steinkamp, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Steinkamp, on a farm northwest of Breda 31 years ago Since her marriage to Tony Ludwig, the home has been on the farm where her death occurred. Mrs. Ludwig was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel church.

She is survived: by her husband and four small sons, Duane, Romayne, Norman and Orville; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Steinkamp of Breda; three brothers, Frank Steinkamp of Westside and Ted and Lawrence Steinkamp of Breda; and three sisters, Mrs. Joe Reis (Caroline), Mrs. Frank Thobe (Julia), of Breda, and Miss Cornelia Steinkamp at home
