Marlind Joseph Haberl 1933-1986

Marlind J. Haberl, 53, of Denison, died Wednesday, July 30, at Shady Oaks Nursing Home in Lake City.

He farmed for several years and for the past 15 years he did construction masonry.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, August 1, at Holy Spirit church in Carroll with the Rev. Mervin Hood as celebrant. Karl Bruch will be lector. Burial, under the direction of the Twit Funeral Home of Carroll, will be in Mount Olivet cemetery. Casket bearers will be brothers, Alvin, Donald, Bernie, Erwin, LeRoy and Ed.

Mr. Haberl is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Haberl, Carroll: the following children: Mark, Mary Lou, Terry, Gail, Luke and Cory; brothers Alvin, Farnhamville; Donald, Maple River; Bernie, Carroll, Erwin, Maple River, LeRoy, Carroll, and Ed, Carroll; sisters Mrs. Leo (Darlene) Willenborg, Manning; Mrs. Alvin (Norma Jean) Anthofer, Willey; Mrs. Edmund (Joleen) Bauer, Sac City, and Mrs. Art (Rita) Bruch, Arcadia, and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a grandchild.

Mr. Haberl was born at Manning on January 14, 1933, a son of Ben F. and Genevieve Daniel Haberl. He received his education at Manning and in St. Joseph school at Dedham
