Matthew Edward Steinkamp 1961-1980 The Carroll Times Herald, February 1980 LAURENS - Mass of the Christian Burial for Matthew Edward Steinkamp, 18, of Laurens, will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 29, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church here. He died in a one-vehicle accident north of Laurens Tuesday, Feb. 26. Officiating at the rites will be the Rev. Peter J. Fransco. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Rosaries will be recited at 7:30 and 8 p.m. Thursday night at the Smith Funeral Chapel in Laurens. Steinkamp was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Steinkamp of Laurens, formerly of the Carroll area. He was a senior at Laurens High School and lived with his brother John Steinkamp and family.
