Merlin Bernard Steinkamp 1917 - 1957

BREDA—Merlin Steinkamp, 40, of Denison, died Saturday at the hospital at Denison. He had been seriously ill about a week, after suffering a heart attack.

Mr. Steinkamp, son of Mrs. Emma (Damm) Steinkamp and the late Frank Steinkamp was born April 1917, on a farm northwest of Breda.

Surviving with his wife are two children, a daughter Shirley, and son Ronnie; his mother, Mrs. Emma Steinkamp, Arcadia; three brothers and four sisters. His father passed away Feb. 8, 1950.

Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at the Catholic Church at Denison, with burial at Des Moines.
