Vincent S. Boes 1920-2001

Vincent S. Boes, 81, on Lone Rock, Wis., a native of Breda, died on Saturday, July 28, 2001, at the Greenway Manor Nursing Home in Wisconsin.

Mass of the Christian burial was held today, July 31, 2001, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lone Rock. Burial will be at St. John Catholic Cemetery in Spring Green Cemetery in Spring Green, Wis., on Wednesday, Aug. 1, with military graveside rites conducted by the American Legion Post # 383.

He was born on Feb. 22, 1920, in Breda, a son of Joseph and Apolonia (Waltz) Boes.

He was married on Nov. 13, 1946, to the former Marian Pudenz.

Mr. Boes was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Lone Rock American Legion.

Survivors include his wife, Marian Boes on Lone Rock; five children, Dean Boes and his wife Jackie, of Oconomowoc, Wis., LuAnn State and her husband, Marty, of St. Louis, Sherry Klein and her husband, Rick of Atlanta, Lynne Boes of Seattle, and Pat Bobcock and her husband, Bob, of McFarland, Wis., 13 grandchildren: two great grandchildren; and five siblings, Cyril Boes and his wife, Elsie, of Fontinelle, Alvina Eischeid of Bayard, Hilda Lake of Arkansas, Annabelle White of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Rufus Boes and his wife, Doris Ann, of Carroll.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and three sisters, Johanna Doyle, Ermina Trammel and Edna Ziegmann.
