Mass of the Christian burial for Betty Williams of Carroll will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 15, 1999, at St. Lawrence Church in Carroll.

Mrs. Williams. 65, died Monday, July 12. 1999. at St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll following a long illness.

The Rev. Laurence Burns will preside at the Mass. Lectors will be Pat and Kris Reis. Gift bearers will be Kari Reis, Janet Wiederien and Diane Campbell. Eucharistic ministers will be Barb Willenborg and Louie and Barb Smith. Casket bearers will be Mike Reis, Kevin Reis, Terry Reis, Steve Killeen, Jay Riesberg and Rick Olerich. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Carroll.

Friends will call after 2:30 and a rosary will be prayed at 3 Wednesday afternoon at Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll. St. Lawrence Parish will hold a Christian wake service at 7:30 and another rosary will be prayed at 8:15 Wednesday night at the funeral home.

A daughter of Joseph J. and Caroline (Steinkamp) Reis, she was born June 5. 1934 at Breda, attended St. Bernard School there and St. Lawrence School in Carroll and spent her lifetime in those communities. She and Louis Williams were married Sept. 10, 1952, at St. Lawrence Church in Carroll. They spent their married lives in Carroll.

Mrs. Williams was employed at the former Jung's Bakery and the former Pamida Inc. store in Carroll. She then worked for 18 years at Coast to Coast until retiring in June 1998. She was a member of St. Lawrence Parish and its Ladies Guild and was a former member of the Left Footers Square Dance Club. She also volunteered at Carroll Middle School.

Survivors include her husband, Louis Williams, of Carroll; four children and their families: Linda and Jim Weber of Carroll and children Keith, Tonya. Eric and Bryan, Scott Williams of Sioux City and children Shawn, Ryan and Brittny, Randy and Sandy Williams of Carroll and children Nicole and Tyler, and Sandy and Terry Kluver of Carroll and children Ashley, Amanda and Alyssa; four sisters: Lorraine Killeen of Churdan, Janice Huisenga of Carroll. Ila Mae Riesberg of Halbur and Karen Reis of Des

Moines; two brothers and their wives: LaVerdos and Luella Reis of Auburn and Delmar and Louisa Reis of Odebolt; a sister-in-law, Helen Reis, of Coon Rapids; and a brother-in-law, Lawrence Loneman, of Maple River.

Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers: Unis, Myro and Joseph Reis; a sister, Darnella Loneman; three brothers-in-law: Kelly Killeen, Milo Olerich and Harold Riesberg; and a sister-in-law, Arlene Reis.
